Labor IQ
LaborIQ’s compensation software helps HR teams navigate the competitive job market. Utilizing its ATILA® Technology, it offers accurate salary benchmarks from over 18 trillion data points, enabling businesses to attract and retain top talent. LaborIQ’s SaaS delivers industry-specific insights and forecasts, helping organizations align compensation strategies with market trends and become employers of choice. As a Lead Designer, I developed Proof of Concept designs to increase revenue, enhance customer acquisition, and boost retention and adoption.
Overview
The Focus
Evaluate the current product and identify business needs for enhancements that boost retention and adoption. Then, create a clickable prototype for channel partner integration and enable a freemium model to increase revenue.
What made this project a success?
I created an intuitive and efficient proof of concept design to increase revenue, enhance the top of the funnel, improve customer retention and adoption, and optimize engineering for channel integration.
From Insights to Solutions
Understanding
The team collaborated with LaborIQ to uncover business goals, measurable outcomes, and product success metrics. Workshops clarified the product's role in addressing HR challenges, while sessions with the technical team provided insights into the Current State Architecture and user pain points.
Crafting the Blueprint
Using insights from discovery, we developed diagrams of the current and future architecture and created User Flow Diagrams to map HR managers’ steps in the Proof of Concept (POC). These flows identified gaps early, ensuring designs addressed critical user needs and possible solutions before moving to wireframes.
Building User-Centered Solutions
To meet functional requirements and enable iterative improvements for a seamless experience, I designed low-fidelity wireframes focusing on three key aspects: content to ensure all necessary information was present, hierarchy to prioritize critical content for intuitive navigation, and patterns to establish consistent solutions to usability challenges.
Labor of Love
Applied Design
I applied visual styles to ensure consistency with LaborIQ's brand identity and delivered a proof of concept (POC) featuring reusable components and patterns for enhancements and the prototype.
Prototyping
Multiple iterations of the clickable prototype were developed to refine interactions, demonstrate functionality, and align with LaborIQ’s objective of enhancing customer acquisition.
“Make it POP”
A prototype splash page created in Figma offers users a smooth and engaging entry that establishes the overall tone of the experience. It gently leads users into the interface with an eye-catching design, clear navigation signals, and context. Check out the video!
Prototype
This prototype was developed as a final deliverable to demonstrate the POC and its integration design with channel partners.
